FuelCalc is built to be usable without creating an account or providing personal information. This page explains what data, if any, is collected when you use our calculator, and how it is handled.
The numbers you enter into the fuel, mileage, or route calculators, including distance, mileage, fuel price, and place names, are processed in your browser to produce a result. We do not store these inputs on our servers, and they are not linked to your identity.
When you use the From and To distance lookup, the place names you enter are sent to free, third party open source services, including OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding and OSRM for route distance, to calculate driving distance. These are independent services with their own privacy practices, and we do not control or store what they receive.
We may use basic, privacy respecting analytics to understand overall site usage, such as which pages are visited, without tracking individuals across other websites. We do not sell any data to third parties.
If ads are shown on this site in the future, they may be served through third party ad networks that use their own cookies or tracking technologies, subject to their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy occasionally as the site evolves. Continued use of FuelCalc after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
